"This series was the first step I took towards abstract painting. I had begun to feel a little more confident with acrylic, and was experimenting systematically with different applications and their result. These paintings were created using a layering technique and latex masking liquid. I abandonned this series because the technique became to methodical, laborious and restrictive, and so dead-ended for me".
